NDA Vacancy 2024: The Union Public Service Commission has released the NDA vacancy 2024 along with the official notification. The NDA notification was released on December 20, 2023, for the NDA 1 exam scheduled to be conducted on April 21, 2024. The Union Public Service Commission conducted the NDA 1 and NDA 2 exams 2022 for 400 vacancies. This year also, a total of 400 vacancies will be filled through the NDA 1 exam 2024.

NDA vacancies are determined based on the requirement of the Indian Armed Forces. Following the Supreme Court's order, NDA female vacancies were also released; however, they are significantly lower than male vacancies. This year, 37 vacancies are released for female candidates preparing to take the NDA 1 exam 2024.

Every year, over 3 lakh candidates take the UPSC NDA exam, competing for approximately 400 vacancies, making it one of the most competitive exams. In order to perform well on the NDA exam, candidates must develop a comprehensive NDA preparation strategy.

NDA Vacancy 2024 for Females

UPSC has released the NDA vacancy 2024 for female candidates on its official website. The vacancies were released along with the official NDA 1 notification. A total of 37 vacancies are released for female aspirants. This year vacancies for female candidates have been increased from 19 to 37. Earlier, the Supreme Court asked the Ministry of Defence to submit a report on why female vacancies have remained constant for the past two years.

The central government has submitted a report stating that adequate infrastructure is being built to increase female vacancies at the National Defense Academy and Naval Academy. Below are the NDA vacancies for women in 2024:
