NIT Sikkim Placements, 2025: The Training and Placement Cell of the National Institute of Technology, Sikkim continuously puts efforts into striving for student's academic growth by fulfilling professional growth requirements by providing hands-on industry experience.In the placement session 2023-2024, the median salary offered to B.Tech graduates stood at INR 8.50 LPA and INR 8.20 LPA for the M.Tech course respectively.

The institute every year provides 100% internship placements to its students enrolled in all the courses along with conducting of placement drive for the final year students. Hike in the placement statistics have been observed in the past few years with a maximum number of students getting placed in diverse job sectors. Companies like Bosch, Byju’s, Nokia, Infosys, Vodafone, Indiamart, Intel, Deloitte, Dalmia Bharat, IBM and others visit the campus every year to recruit students from different courses.

As per the placement calendar released by the institution, the placement session in the year 2023 commenced on July 26 in two slots. The first slot of the placement was scheduled for July 25 to Dec 31, 2023, and the second slot was scheduled from Jan 17-June 15, 2024. The entire recruitment process happening in the institution takes place within these dates mentioned by the college.

The placement process for PhD students are same as the UG and PG level courses just that the placement is going throughout the year for PhD students and interviews are conducted as per the availability of the recruiting companies and the students.

In the placement drive for the session 2023, NIT Sikkim witnessed 83.70% of its students successfully getting placed across multiple sectors.
