NIT Sikkim Admissions 2024: Admission across various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and doctorate programmes are offered in multiple specialisations by the Nation Institute of Technology Sikkim. The institute offers a B.Tech at the undergraduate, M.Tech, M.Sc at the postgraduate and PhD at the doctorate level. The admission process is based on the scores obtained by the individuals in the national-level examination conducted by the concerned authorities.
An individual must qualify JEE main examination to secure admission to B.Tech courses which is followed by the JoSAA common seat allocation process. The institute offers a two-year M.Tech degree based on the marks obtained in the GATE examination and CCMT counselling, whereas the admission criteria for M.Sc is followed by candidates appearing for IIT JAM or IAT followed by CCMN counselling. Admission to PhD courses is subject to a GATE/NET score and a personal interview round conducted by the institute.
