IIIT Kottayam: The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam, Kerala is one among the various IIITs established under the Ministry of Education (formally the Ministry of Human Resource and Development) in 2015 within the public-private partnership with the Government of Kerala and Industry partner CIAL Cochin and Rolta Foundation Mumbai. In 2017 the institute was declared as an ‘Institute of National Importance’ by the Government of India.
