Indian Institute of Information Technology, Trichy: IIIT Trichy or Tiruchirappalli founded in 2013, is one of the 20 IIITs founded by the government of India under the non-profit Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme of the Ministry of Human Resource and Development.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Trcihy like other IIITs admits students through JEE Main examination for B.Tech degree programs and accepts JAM and GATE scores for M.Tech and M.Sc programs. 

JEE Main session 1 forms are live for registrations, willing candidates can apply till the last date of 22nd November, 2024. The JEE Main Session 1 is scheduled between 22nd January to 31st January 2025.

The candidates are supposed to register themselves for the JoSAA, CSAB and CCMN/ CCMT counseling upon declaration of results for admissions in IIITs. All the IIIT or the Indian Institute of Information Technology follows the JoSAA, CSAB, CCMN and CCMT norms for seat allotment as per the regulations of the Government of India.
