Indian Institute of Information Technology, Agartala: IIIT Agartala was founded in 2018 in the Northeastern State of Tripura to provide resources for advanced education, research, and training across diverse areas of Information Technology.
Similar to other IIITs functioning in the country, IIIT Agartala also functions as an autonomous institution under the public-private partnership scheme of the Central government. It has been given the status of ‘Institute of National Importance’.
