IBPS RRB Result 2024 - Marking Scheme

To check the result properly, students must know the marking scheme of the RRB PO exam. The same is as follows: 

• Both IBPS RRB PO prelims and mains examination carry each question of 1 mark.
• There is also a negative marking in the examination.
• For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
• No negative marking, if the question is unattempted.

IBPS RRB PO Result 2024 - For Officers Scale I

• Candidates must achieve a minimum score in each test of the Online Main Examination to be eligible for shortlisting for the interview. 
• Based on the available vacancies, an adequate number of candidates from each category, not exceeding three times the declared vacancies in each state, will be invited for an interview, provided there are enough qualifying candidates. 
• The scores from the Online Main Examination will not be disclosed to the candidates shortlisted for the interview until the interview process is completed.

IBPS RRB PO Result 2024 - For Officers Scale II and III

• Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Single Examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. 
• Depending on the number of vacancies available, adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies shall be called for interview, subject to availability. 
• Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for the interview.

Note: 

• Simply passing the individual tests may not be enough; candidates must also achieve a high total score to be called for the Common Interview or Provisional Allotment based on merit. 
• The decision of IBPS regarding the shortlisting of candidates for the Common Interview or Provisional Allotment will be final.

IBPS RRB Result 2024 - Shortlisting of Candidate

• For the post of Officers Scale I– Marks obtained only in the online main examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview and final merit listing. 
• For the post of Officers Scale II (Generalist and Specialist) and Scale III – Marks obtained in the single-level online examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview and final merit listing.
