IBPS Clerk Exam 2024: IBPS released the official notification for the IBPS Clerk exam on July 1, 2024, on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out their registration forms by entering the required details at ibps.in. The last date to fill out the IBPS clerk application form was extended till July 28, 2024, earlier the last date was July 21, 2024. 

The IBPS clerk prelims exam 2024 was conducted on August 24, 25, and 31, 2024 and the Mains exam was held on October 13, 2024. The Pre-Examination Training was conducted between August 12 and 17, 2024.

IBPS Clerk Eligibility 2024

Candidates who are interested in applying for the IBPS CRP Clerk XIV must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria. They must note that the IBPS eligibility criteria specified are the basic criteria for appointment to the aforesaid posts in the Participating Banks.

Nationality / Citizenship:

As per the official notice, the candidate must be either of the following -

(i) a Citizen of India or

(ii) a subject of Nepal or

(iii) a subject of Bhutan or

(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Age (As on 01.07.2024):

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2004 (both dates inclusive)

The IBPS clerk registration process was started on July 1, 2024, in online mode. Eligible candidates can fill out their application forms through the official website - ibps.in, before July 28, 2024. The Pre-Examination Training (PET) was conducted from August 12 to 17, 2024.
