IBPS Clerk 2024: Notification, Registration, Date, Eligibility, Admit Card, Syllabus, Pattern

IBPS Clerk Exam 2024: IBPS released the official notification for the IBPS Clerk exam on July 1, 2024, on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out their registration forms by entering the required details at ibps.in. The last date to fill out the IBPS clerk application form has been extended to July 28, 2024, earlier the last date was July 21, 2024. 

According to the tentative calendar, the IBPS clerk prelims exam 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on August 24, 25, and 31, 2024 and the Mains exam will be held on October 13, 2024. The Pre-Examination Training will be conducted between August 12 and 17, 2024.

The examination conducting body has released the tentative schedule for the IBPS clerk 2024. Candidates can have a look at the important dates related to the exam in the table given below - 

IBPS Clerk Eligibility 2024

Candidates who are interested in applying for the IBPS CRP Clerk XIV must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria. They must note that the IBPS eligibility criteria specified are the basic criteria for appointment to the aforesaid posts in the Participating Banks.

Nationality / Citizenship:

As per the official notice, the candidate must be either of the following -

(i) a Citizen of India or

(ii) a subject of Nepal or

(iii) a subject of Bhutan or

(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Age (As on 01.07.2024):

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2004 (both dates inclusive)

IBPS Clerk Application Form 2024

The IBPS clerk registration process has been started on July 1, 2024, in online mode. Eligible candidates can fill out their application forms through the official website - ibps.in, before July 28, 2024. As per the released schedule, the Pre-Examination Training (PET) will be conducted from August 12 to 17, 2024. The IBPS clerk prelims exam will be held in August whereas the Mains exam will be conducted in October 2024.

IBPS Clerk Admit Card 2024

The examination conducting body will release the IBPS Clerk admit card 2024 for prelims exam online. Once released, candidates can check and download the IBPS Clerk admit card 2024 from the official website. Applicants must note that they have to bring their IBPS clerk 2024 hall tickets to the exam centre on the day of the exam. As no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without it.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2024

The IBPS Clerk exam pattern 2024 has been released along with the IBPS Clerk notification at ibps.in. The IBPS Clerk preliminary exam will be held in objective type test in online mode. Candidates can check the structure of the exam below -

IBPS Clerk 2024 Prelims Exam Pattern

The IBPS Clerk prelims exam 2024 will be conducted for a total duration of 1 hour. The exam will have a total of 100 questions with a maximum marks of 100. The prelims exam will have three tests i.e., English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. 

Note - Candidates have to qualify in each of the three test by securing the cutoff marks to be decided by the IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online main exam. 

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern

The IBPS clerk mains exam is divided into 4 tests i.e., General/ Financial awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude. IBPS Clerk Vacancy 2024

As per the official IBPS Clerk notification 2024, this year, the IBPS Clerk exam 2024 will be conducted for a total of 6,128 vacancies. Candidates can have a look at the complete state-wise IBPS Clerk 2024 vacancy on the official notification available at ibps.in.

IBPS Clerk Result 2024

The IBPS will announce the IBPS results 2024 after the completion of each phase of the examination i.e., Prelims and Mains. The final state-wise merit list and category-wise merit list will be prepared in descending order of the marks obtained by the candidates in their online IBPS Clerk mains examination. Candidates who fall in the IBPS merit list will be considered for the appointment for the post of clerks in the participating Banks.
