IBPS Clerk Exam 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS Clerk (Customer Service Associate) admit cards on November 24, 2025. Eligible candidates can download their hall tickets from ibps.in till December 2, 2025. The IBPS Clerk Mains exam will be conducted on November 29 and December 2, 2025. The institute released the IBPS Clerk Prelims Result 2025 on November 20, 2025. Candidates can check their qualifying status for the mains exam by logging into the official website- ibps.in, using their registration number and date of birth, or password. The result will indicate whether the candidate has cleared the preliminary stage and is eligible for the mains examination, scheduled for November 29, 2025.

The IBPS Clerk Prelims exam 2025 was conducted on October 4, 5, and 11, 2025. The admit card for the preliminary examination was announced on September 25, 2025. The institute extended the registration date till August 28, 2025, and the correction window was open on September 2, 2025. The IBPS registration window was initially open from August 1 to August 21, 2025.

The institute had opened the application correction facility for the Common Recruitment Process for Customer Service Associates (CRP CSA XV) on September 2, 2025, and the application correction window remained open till September 3, 2025, allowing candidates to make necessary corrections and resubmit the application form. Certain fields, including name, email ID, mobile number, state/UT in vacancy, state/UT in correspondence address, permanent address, post applied for, and nationality, cannot be modified during the correction facility.

IBPS 2025: Revised Vacancies

The IBPS Clerk 2025 vacancies have been revised and increased to a total of 13,533 positions under the CRP-CSA-XV recruitment cycle, according to an official notification on October 27, 2025. The initial notification had announced 10,277 vacancies, but after receiving updated manpower requirements from participating public sector banks, IBPS expanded the clerical cadre positions significantly. This increase of over 3,200 posts greatly improves the selection chances for candidates across various states.

Candidates can check the state-wise and bank-wise vacancies from the link given in the table above. Highest vacancy increments reported from Uttar Pradesh (2346 posts), Bihar (748), West Bengal (992), Tamil Nadu (1161), Maharashtra (1144), and Karnataka (1248). 

IBPS Clerk Prelims Result 2025

The conducting body announced the IBPS Clerk Prelims Result 2025 on November 20, 2025. The results for IBPS Clerk 2025 exam were anounced after the completion of each phase of the examination, i.e., Prelims and Mains. The final state-wise merit list and category-wise merit list will be prepared in descending order of the marks obtained by the candidates in their online IBPS Clerk mains examination. Candidates who fall in the IBPS merit list will be considered for the appointment for the post of clerks in the participating Banks.

IBPS Clerk Eligibility 2025

Candidates who are interested in applying for the IBPS CRP Clerk must fulfil the following eligibility criteria. They must note that the IBPS eligibility criteria specified are the basic criteria for appointment to the aforesaid posts in the Participating Banks.

Nationality / Citizenship:

As per the official notice, the candidate must be either of the following -

(i) a Citizen of India or

(ii) a subject of Nepal or

(iii) a subject of Bhutan or

(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2004 (both dates inclusive)

IBPS Clerk 2025 Prelims Exam Pattern

The IBPS Clerk prelims exam 2025 will be conducted for a total duration of 1 hour. The exam will have a total of 100 questions with a maximum of 100 marks. The prelims exam will have three tests, i.e., English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. 

Note - Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing the cutoff marks to be decided by the IBPS. An adequate number of candidates in each category, as decided by IBPS, depending upon requirements, will be shortlisted for the online main exam.

The IBPS clerk mains exam is divided into 4 tests, i.e., General/ Financial awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude.
