The National Legal Studies and Research University, Hyderabad has commenced classes for the 2024 session. NALSAR is accepting applications for the 2025 session of five-year integrated BA LLB  and LLM courses with other courses offered. Candidates must note that the admissions in NALSAR are based on the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test).

CLAT 2025 forms are open for registration, the exam is scheduled for 1st December 2024. 

 The National Legal Studies and Research University was established in 1998 by the statute of the government of Andhra Pradesh, today it is regarded as one of the top Law schools in India. Admitting students from across the globe. The legal studies are imparted here in an interdisciplinary way.

NALSAR BA LLB Admissions 2025; Eligibility and Fees

The National Legal Studies and Research University provides a Five year BA LLB program, it equips students with research and writing skills with a course comprehensively designed as per the Bar Council of India (BCI). The students are enrolled on the basis of the CLAT examination, conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities of India.

  • A concession of 5% is given to reserved candidates.

NALSAR LLM Admissions 2025; Course and Fees

The two-year LLM course at NALSAR comes in Variations and elective options. The University also offers a one-year LLM program, providing students the option based on convenience. The first year of the program is based in NALSAR and the second year of the program is based in the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA). The course seats are very limited with only 66 seats in total, the admissions are done based on CLAT examination.

The LLM course at NALSAR is one of a kind, it is based on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws and Procedures Law in India. The details for the two-year residential LLM program are mentioned below.

NALSAR MBA Admissions 2025

The Department of Management Studies at NALSAR, the management institute is an intersection of law and management. The department provides two degrees, a five-year integrated program in management (IPM) and a full-time 2 year MBA program. MBA admissions 2025 dates are yet to be announced and MBA admissions 2024 have been closed.

NALSAR PhD Admissions 2025

The National Legal Studies and Research University (NALSAR), offers Doctoral Programs and Post-doctoral programs. NALSAR research programs are for the period of three years. The notification for the same is published online.

  • Eligibility: Master's degree in Law, management, social sciences or other discipline with a minimum 55% (50% for reserved category) marks can apply for doctoral programs in NALSAR.
  • Exam: The PhD admissions are done on the basis of the Eligibility exam, candidates having valid UGC-NET/CSIR qualifications will be exempted from the exam.
  • Fees: The fee for the PhD program at NALSAR IS 20,000.
  • Duration: The total duration of the PhD program is three years, extensions are provided in select cases.

NALSAR Centre for Aerospace and Defence Laws (CADL); Courses, Eligibility and Fees

Center for air and space laws was established in 2005 by NALSAR offering various courses in Aviation and Space laws. The center is responsible for the six courses it provides under its name.

  • Master's degree in Aviation Laws and air transport management (MALATM)
  • Masters in Security and defence laws (MSDL)
  • Masters in space and telecommunications (MSTL)
  • PG Diploma in Aviation Laws and Air Transport Management ( PGDALATM)
  • PG Diploma in advance maritime laws (PGDAML)
  • PG Diploma in GIS and Remote sensing (PGDGRL)
