DU Admission 2024 Latest Updates: DU CSAS UG 2024 first allocation seat has been released by the university at du.ac.in, registered students can log in with their credentials to download the merit list. Students can accept the allotted seats in the first round of CSAS seat allocation latest by August 18, 2024 by 04.59 pm, followed by verification by the respective colleges and approval of online application by August 20, 2024.
The second merit list for DU CSAS UG 2024 has been released by the university on August 25, 2024. Candidates who have been shortlisted are advised to login to their dashboard and accept the seat allocation by Tuesday August 27, 2024 till 04:59 p.m. The last date to submit the fees is August 30, 2024 till 04:59 p.m. Only the candidates who will make the payment will be able to opt for “Upgrade” for the subsequent round.

DU CUET Admission 2024
NTA released the final CUET UG scores on July 28, 2024. Candidates who have appeared for CUET UG 2024 can download the final answer key along with their results by entering their application number, date of birth, registered email id, or phone number.
- The University of Delhi has opened the correction window for the registered students of Phase 1 of CSAS UG on July 30, 2024, registered candidates can make necessary changes in their application form latest by August 4, 2024.
- Students who have already applied for phase 1 of the DU CUET 2024 and want to add the ECA/Sports category to their application form can also make the required changes during the stipulated time of the correction window.
- DU simulated rank list 2024 has been released by the university based on the score of CUET UG 2024 and preferences made by the candidates in DU CSAS phase 2.
- Students can check their tentative rank along with the probability of securing admission to various colleges of their applied programmes.
- The university will further release a round-wise DU CUET cut-off list for the year 2024 based on the minimum passing marks required for admission to various colleges specific to the course of choice.
- Based on the student's performance in the entrance examination and the cut-off list released by the university, the final DU CUET merit list will be released based on the factors such as category (SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ UR) of the candidate, the combination of college and selected course, the position of the candidate in the merit list and availability of seats.
DU Admission 2024: CSAS UG
- Admission to all undergraduate programme will be done through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) UG 2024 on the basis of CUET UG 2024.
- Registration for CSAS 2024 portal has been opened on May 28, 2024.
- The application fee for the CSAS registration is INR 250. For SC, ST and PwBD, it is INR 100.
- The CSAS (UG) includes three phases - Applying to Delhi University, Filling the preferences for programmes and colleges and allocation cum admission.
- DU CSAS UG 2024 first seat allocation released at- admission.uod.ac.in on August 16, 2024. Registered candidates can accep the alloted seats in the first round by August 18, 2024.
- On August 22, the second round of CSAS admission and allocation will start with the display of vacant seats. Students can reorder their preferences between August 22-23, 2024. The second round of CSAS seat allocation will be announced on August 25, at 5:00 p.m.

DU Ph.D Admission 2024: Selection Process
Admission to DU Ph.D courses will be carried out as per the UGC notification dated March 27, 2024. Earlier the the University used to conduct an entrance test for PhD admission, but now there will be only one entrance test nation wide. The University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) through National Testing Agency (NTA) twice a year.
The Delhi University will be using the UGC-NET scores for its PhD admissions. For the academic year starting from June 2024, the NET candidates will be eligible for the admissions to PhD program in three categories.

- The JRF qualified candidates will be admitted to PhD Admission based on an interview as per UGC Regulation 2022.
- For candiates belonging to category 2 and 3, the PhD admission will be based on 70% NET scores and 30% interview scores.
