Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE) at IIM Lucknow is a uniquely designed program for working executives, entrepreneurs and professionals, who desire to enhance their managerial knowledge and skills through formal management education while continuing to work full time in their ongoing professions/businesses. PGPWE is a two year program where the classes take place on atlternate weekends at the Noida campus of IIM Lucknow. On successful completion of the program, the student gets an MBA degree.
The main highlights of the PGPWE programme at IIM Lucknow are as follows:
- Candidates willing to apply for the PGPWE admission at IIM Lucknow must have a valid score in CAT/GRE/ GMAT/GATE.
- Candidates who does not have a valid score in any of the above examination can appear PGPWE Entrance Exam at IIML Noida Campus.
- The minimum eligibility for the course is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution/university.
- Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in the qualifying degree.
- They must also have a minimum of 3 years full-time post-qualification (after graduation) work experience.
- Based on the scores in GMAT/ GRE/ CAT/ GATE/ PGPWE Entrance Exam, candidates are shortlisted for Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview.
- After Writing Ability Test & Personal Interview are done, final score is calculated based on 30% weightage to the Test Score, 30% to Academic and Professional Profile, 20% to Writing Ability Test and the remaining 10% to the Personal Interview.

The total fee for the 2 year PGPWE course at IIM Lucknow is INR 11,15,000. The fee payment is on the per term basis. There are a total of seven terms - 4 in first year and 3 in second year. The term-wise total fee are listed below. For PGPWE admission at IIM Lucknow, candidates must have:
- A valid CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE/ PGPWE Entrance Exam Score
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
