Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)
Post-graduate Programme in Management (PGP) at IIM Kozhikode is a full-time two-year residential program in Management with a summer internship at the end of 1st year. Each academic year begins around June/July and ends around March and comprises three terms each. On successful completion of the two year PGP course, students are awarded a Master of Business Administration(MBA) degree.
The main highlights of the PGP programme IIM Kozhikode at are as follows:
- Candidates willing to apply for the PGP admission at IIM Kozhikode must have a valid score in the CAT examination.
- The minimum eligibility for the course is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution/university.
- Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree. There are some exemptions for the reserved categories.
- Candidates who do not have a Graduation Degree but completed CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS must secure a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks in these professional courses. However, those who have secured 50 percent aggregate marks in CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS and have a Graduation Degree must secure a minimum of 60 percent aggregate marks in their Graduation Degree.
- Based on the CAT score, candidates are shortlisted for a Written Ability Test (WAT) and a Personal Interview (PI).
- The final selection is based on the CAT performance, Academic Profile, Work Experience, performance in the WAT and PI.

For PGP admission at IIM Kozhikode, candidates must have:
- A valid CAT Score
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
- Scored 60% or above in the qualifying degree
- Candidates with professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/CS with 50% are also eligible with a valid CAT scor
- Merit in Writing Ability test and Personal Interview
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD must have scored 55% marks in the qualifying degree.
