BHU Admission 2024: The Banaras Hindu University is known for offering a diverse range of courses in multiple disciplines. From basic UG and PG courses to diploma and certificate programs and PhD level courses are all offered in BHU. The UG level courses include BA (Hons), B.Com (Hons), B.Sc (Hons), B.Ed, B.A.M.S, B.P.Ed, LLB, MBBS,B.Voc, BPA etc. At PG level the courses which are offered are M.A, MBA, M.Phil, M.Sc, MFA, LLM, M.Tech, etc. BHU UG round 2 seat allotment results has been declared by the university on August 22, 2024, on its official website. Eligible candidates can confirm their admission by paying the requisite fees specific to the course latest by August 25, 2024.
As per BHU seat matrix 2023, a total of 5176 seats were offered for UG and PG Admissions which are further segregated into various BHU-affiliated colleges. The seat allocation process is done on the basis of the candidate's “Preference Order” and merit.
Admission to any of the courses is based on different national-level and university-level entrance exams, CUET UG, CUET PG, BHU UET, BHU PET, BHU RET, BHU BSc Nursing EXAM, BHU BPT, Pre-Medical TEST.
Candidates willing to take admission in Banaras Hindu University must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria in different domains. For UG courses candidates require a minimum 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 pattern with relevant disciplines while for PG candidates must have a Bachelor's degree under 10+2+3 pattern with minimum 50% aggregate marks with relevant subjects. However, the final selection will be on the basis of the scores of CUET PG in respective disciplines followed by a cut-off list merit and counselling process to the final Fees submission.
Among all the courses offered by BHU, the MBA is one of the most renowned ones with 52 seats in the main campus and admission to MBA considers the CAT scores along with fulfilling basic eligibility criteria.

BHU UG Admission 2024
Banaras Hindu University offers a four-year UG program for both Honors and Research, namely UG Honors and UG Honors with Research. Only 10% of students with a CGPA of 7.5 and above will be permitted to select UG Honors with Research based on merit. All UG courses will be Eight Semesters or Four Years Courses with exit options as per National Education Policy 2020 norms. BHU will be taking admissions on the basis of the CUET cutoff 2024.
