MPPSC exam pattern 2025 is released by MPPSC. The MPPSC exam has three stages including MPPSC Prelims, Mains and Interview. The Prelims exam consists of 100 questions, each with 2 marks.

MPPSC Exam Pattern 2025: Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission releases the pattern for MPPSC exam along with the official notification. The exam conducting body releases the exam pattern along with the official notification. Candidates should be well-versed with the MPPSC exam pattern for each stage of the examination. In case the exam pattern is revised, then the information will be shared with students through an official notification. 

The MPPSC exam has three different stages of the examination including Prelims, Mains and Interview. Hence, the exam pattern for all three stages is different compared to one another. MPPSC Prelims exam consists of 2 papers and both the papers are of 200 marks each, whereas MPPSC Mains exam has 6 papers and the total marks of MPPSC Mains exam are 1400.  

Candidates who will qualify for both rounds will be then eligible to appear for MPPSC Interview round. MPPSC interview round is 175 marks. MPPSC interview round is the final round for candidates and if they get shortlisted in this round, they will be eligible to get recruited for the post they have applied for.

MPPSC Prelims Exam Pattern Details 

  • MPPSC Prelims exam consists of two papers named - Paper 1 ( General Studies) and Paper 2 ( General Aptitude Test)
  • MPPSC Prelims total questions for both the papers are 100 respectively 
  • MPPSC prelims paper 1 and 2 total marks are 200 respectively. This makes the MPPSC Prelims total marks is 400 
  • An OMR Sheet will be given to each applicant appearing for MPPSC prelims exam so they may mark their responses. Candidates should be careful while marking the whole circle in the OMR sheet
  • Candidates are urged to carefully study the instructions given on the OMR sheet
  • There is no MPPSC negative marking. This means no marks will be deducted for any wrong answer
  • MPPSC exam duration is 2 hours for prelims exam
  • Only those applicants will qualify the MPPSC prelims exam and move to the mains exam if they qualify for both of the papers and meet the cutoff scores et by the Madhya Pradesh Public service commission
  • Each paper will consist of 100 questions, with two marks awarded for each correct answer
  • MPPSC Prelims exam question paper will be released in Hindi and English language 

MPPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2025

MPPSC Mains exam is the second stage of the examination. Once the MPPSC Mains exam is conducted, the commission will release the result. Candidates should be well-informed about the MPPSC exam pattern which will help them to get better scores in the examination.

MPPSC Exam Pattern 2025 Mains

  • MPPSC Mains exam consists of 6 papers. While the first 4 papers are of general studies, paper 5 is of general Hindi and paper 6 is of Hindi essay. 
  • MPPSC Mains exam total marks are 1400. 
  • As per the MPPSC Mains marks division, papers 1, 2 and 3 are 300 marks each, whereas papers 4 and 5 are 200 marks each and finally paper 6 is 100 marks. 
  • MPPSC mains exam duration is 3 hours. 
  • For the MPPSC Mains exam as well candidates will get an OMR sheet which students have to fill out thoroughly. 
  • MPPSC negative marking does not exist for candidates and no marks will be deducted for wrong answers. 
  • Those candidates who will qualify the MPPSC mains exam on the given cut-off will be eligible to appear for the MPPSC interview.

MPPSC Interview Exam Pattern 2025

MPPSC interview is the last stage for candidates appearing in the examination. Only those candidates who will qualify MPPSC prelims and mains will be eligible to appear for the interview round.
