The JEE Main is a gateway for those candidates who want to secure admission to the top NITs, IITs, and other engineering colleges. In 2025, a total of 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and 25 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will offer admission based on the JEE Main scores. Moreover, several private engineering colleges also accept the JEE Main scores.
The JEE Main exam is conducted in two sessions—January and April. The JEE Main Session 2 result will be released on April 17, 2025, by NTA on its official website. Those candidates who score minimum marks as per the cutoff set by the authority will be eligible for the JoSAA Counseling 2025.
