CBSE Maths Paper 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today, March 11, conducted the Class 10 Mathematics exam in offline mode. The paper was easy to moderate and aligned well with the prescribed CBSE syllabus and NCERT textbook, say experts.
As per Shalini, HOD Mathematics, MTG Learning Media, “Few sets contained questions of easy level as compared to the previous year question papers. In these sets, most of the questions were too direct. While in other sets, questions were easy to moderate. Except for a few questions that required critical thinking, the paper was well-balanced. The questions were from the prescribed syllabus and NCERT textbook.”
When will CBSE 10th Result 2024 be released?
According to students, the question paper was lengthy. Arnav Tyagi, who appeared in the CBSE class 10 Maths exam from one of the centres in Greater Noida told IE Education that the “CBSE class 10th Mathematics paper was moderately difficult and some 5 marker questions were out of the syllabus.”

CBSE Class 10 Maths Question Paper 2024 Paper Pattern
The paper pattern was the same for Maths (Standard) and Maths (Basic) subjects. The CBSE Class 10 Maths Paper consisted of 38 questions for 80 marks. As per the students’ reactions, the Class 10 Maths paper was moderate to difficult. As per the few students, there were some questions which they found tricky. However, the overall paper was manageable but lengthy.

The CBSE will announce the CBSE Class 10th result 2024 on its official website – cbse.gov.in. Once released, students who have appeared for the final board exams will be able to download their scores by entering the necessary login details. As per the past year’s trends, it is expected that the CBSE 10th results will be declared in May/June 2024.
