MICAT Result 2025: Direct Link, Date & Steps to download scorecard

MICA will release the MICAT 2025 results for Phase 1 and Phase 2 separately, as per the schedule available on mica.ac.in. Candidates who took the Phase 1 exam can expect their results on December 20, 2024, while Phase 2 results will be announced on February 14, 2025. To progress to the next stage of the selection process, candidates need to obtain a good score in the MICAT exam and have a strong qualifying score to be shortlisted for the Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, which will be held at designated centres such as Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore.

MICAT 2025 is conducted online in two phases- Phase 1 and 2. MICAT Phase 1 was conducted on December 7, 2024 whereas Phase 2 will take place on January 25, 2024.

MICAT Result 2025: Steps to Download the Scorecard 

To check the MICAT 2025 scores, candidates can download the scorecard from mica.ac.in. Follow the steps below to download your MICAT Scorecard 2025.

• Visit mica.ac.in.
• Click on ‘MICAT Result’ on the homepage.
• The candidate login window will appear. 
• Enter a valid user ID and password to log in.
• The MICAT Scorecard 2025 will appear with the candidate’s qualifying status. 
• Save and download the MICAT 2025 Result for future reference.

MICAT Result 2025 - Merit List Preparation

MICA follows a comprehensive 3-stage selection process for admission, which includes evaluation through CAT/XAT/GMAT scores, the MICAT exam, and Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI).

The detailed steps for final merit list preparation are outlined below:

Step 1: The Psychometric Test (Section A) of MICAT serves as a qualifier and is evaluated first.

Step 2: Candidates who qualify in Section A proceed to the next stage, where their performance in CAT/XAT/GMAT is considered. A minimum cut-off percentile or score is applied, and the best score among the three tests is taken into account.

Step 3: Candidates who clear the CAT/XAT/GMAT cut-off have their Section C (including all sub-sections) of MICAT assessed. Scores in Section C are normalized, and minimum cut-offs based on both raw and percentile scores are applied. Those who meet the criteria in Section C then have their Section B evaluated. Note that both Sections B and C have sectional cut-offs (percentile and raw scores).

Candidates who pass through Steps 1, 2, and 3 will be shortlisted for GE and PI, which are conducted at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, or Mumbai.

Step 4: Candidates appearing for GE and PI must receive recommendations from the majority of the interview panel members to be considered for the final merit list.

Note: For candidates who meet all the criteria above, the final composite score is prepared using the following weightage:

• CAT/XAT/GMAT: 35%

• MICAT: 25%

• GE: 10%

• PI: 20%

• Academic performance in 10th, 12th, and Graduation: 5% (1.75% for 10th, 1.75% for 12th, 1.5% for Graduation) (Refer to the grade calculation method for detailed information.)

• Extra-curricular activities, sports, academic diversity, gender diversity, etc.: 5% (This section is completed separately at the time of GE & PI).

Offer letters will be issued to candidates who make it to the final merit list. Candidates must accept the offer by the deadline stated in the letter; otherwise, their name will be removed from the program’s merit list.

MICAT Result 2025: What after the Result?

After the result announcement, qualified candidates will be updated about their GE and PI round via their registered email. The GE and PI are crucial steps in the admission process as they determine if the candidate will make it into the final merit list. Upon the completion of the GE and PI round, MICA will release the MICAT Merit List 2025 formulated based on the candidates’ performance in the MICAT exam, GE and PI. It should be known that the Psychometric Test is only qualifying in nature. 

Shortlisted candidates will be given a stipulated amount of time to either accept or reject the offer. In case they fail to make a decision in time, the offer will be revoked.
