NIOS 12th Result 2025: Steps to apply for result correction

Candidates can apply for result correction, in case they find any errors in their NIOS 12th result 2025. It must be noted that they can apply for result correction within 30 days from the date of NIOS 12th result declaration. In addition, candidates will have to pay an online payment of Rs 50 for each correction.

Candidates can apply for NIOS result correction with the help of the following steps:

Step 1: Visit the official NIOS website and go to the “information about” section 

Step 2: Next, click on the “admission” option and then the NIOS student portal will appear on your screen

Step 3: Then, click on the “exams & results” tab, click on the “results” option and then click on the “Check Result” option

Step 4: Now, click on the “apply recheck/re-evaluation” tab

Step 5: Next, select the subject for which you want to request for result correction

Step 6: After selecting the subject, choose the type of result correction you want to apply for, from the following options: (Practical marks not included in the result/TMA marks not included in the result/TOC marks not included in the result /Marked Absent in Theory)

Step 7: After selecting the correction type, select the payment gateway to pay the processing fee

Step 8: Students are required to pay Rs 50 for each type of correction

Step 9: Once you have paid the fees, you can view the status of your request for result correction from the “My Request” link on the result correction tab
