HPBOSE 12th Result 2026: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) will declare the HP Board Class 12th  Result 2026 tentatively in May 2026. The board authorities will announce the result date and time through a press note. Students who will be appearing for the HPBOSE 12th exam 2026 will be able to download their scorecard from the official website of the board - hpbose.org, once released. 

Students can check their result for HPBOSE 12th board exam online using their login credentials and by entering roll number in the login window. The HPBOSE 12th marksheet released on the official website will be provisional in nature. Students will have to collect their original marksheets for HPBOSE class 12 result from their respective schools. The HPBOSE mark sheet will mention details such as subject-wise marks scored in theory and practical exams, the total marks obtained, result status, and student-related information such as the student’s name and roll number.

Last year, the HPBOSE 12th result was out on May 17, 2025 at 12:00 PM. Students who fail to score minimum marks required to qualify the board exam will have to appear for the HP Board 12th supplementary exam to be conduted tentatively in July 2026.

HP Board 12th Result 2026: Scrutiny Process

Students who are not satisfied with their results of the HPBOSE 12th board examination can apply for re-evaluation or re-checking of their answer sheets. Students need to fill out an online form for re-checking or re-evaluation and pay the required fee. There is an application fee of INR 400 for re-checking and a fee of INR 500 for re-evaluation of the answer scripts. 

The application form for re-checking answer sheets must be submitted within 15 days of the result declaration and the re-evaluation application form needs to be submitted within 30 days of result declaration.  If there is an increase in the marks after re-checking, the marksheet will be revised accordingly. However, if there is a decrease in marks after re-checking, no changes will be made to the previously obtained score.

HPBOSE 12th Supplementary Result 2026

Students need to score a minimum of 33% to clear the HPBOSE Class 12 examination. In case, a student is unable to score the passing marks, they can appear for the compartment exams. The supplementary exams give the students an opportunity to qualify for the examination in their second attempt. 

The HPBOSE 12th board supplementary result is declared in online mode. Students will be able to download their Himachal Pradesh board results online using their login credentials. Last year, the HPBOSE 12th supplementary exams were held from July 22 to 28, 2025 in the morning shift. The Himachal board class 12 compartment result was declared on August 30, 2025.
