NIT Srinagar Admission 2025: The admissions for NIT Srinagar has commenced for the academic year 2025. The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in various engineering disciplines.

NIT srinagar offers its flagship course, a four year B.Tech program, in eight specialisations. The B.Tech eligibility criteria states that the candidate must hold a Higher Secondary Certificate degree (10+2) with a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in the qualifying examination and Maths as a compulsory subject. Admission to the B.Tech program is carried out on the basis of national-level entrance examination (JEE Main), after which seats are allocated as per the Centralised JoSAA/DASA Counselling. JoSAA has released five rounds of its seat allotment list for B.Tech admission 2024.

The fees for NIT Srinagar B.Tech program is INR 62,500/Semester for candidates belonging to GEN/OBC-NCL/EWS category. The fee is INR 20,833/Semester for GEN/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates (with family income between INR 1-5 lakh). SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from paying tuition fees. GEN/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates with family income less than 1 lakh are also exempted from paying tuition fees.
