The National Institute of Technology, Surathkal (NIT Surathkal) is a public technical university in Surathkal, Karnataka, India. It was founded in 1960, formerly known as Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC). It is now one of India's 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs). NIT Surathkal has secured the 17th position in engineering category and 46th position in the Overall category by NIRF Ranking 2024. It offers admission through 13 departments, 1 school, and 12 supporting centers in engineering, management, science, and technology, etc. The supporting centers provide research and development support to the institute's academic programs. The institute has a sprawling campus of 295 acres and provides separate hostels for men and women.

Apart from engineering courses, NIT Surathkal offers other valuable degrees like a two-year MBA program. Applicants should have minimum eligibility criteria like an undergraduate degree with 50% aggregate followed by a national-level exam scorecard ( MAT/CAT). 

NIT Surathkal M.Sc. Admission 2025

NIT Surathkal Ph.D. Admission 2025
