NIT Goa Admission 2024: The admissions for National Institute of Technology, Goa are yet to commence for the academic year 2024. The flagship course offered by NIT Goa is a 4 year B.Tech program. NIT Goa offers B.Tech programs in multiple specialisations including Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.

NIT Goa M.Tech Admission 2024: Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission in NIT Goa M.Tech program states that the candidate must fulfil one of the following criteria:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates).
2. Master’s degree in science or equivalent degree with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates).

NIT Goa Ph.D Admission 2024: Eligibility criteria

1. The eligibility criteria for NIT Goa PhD admission states that the candidate must have M.Tech/Master's Degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale)from a recognized university in case of General/OBC candidates. 
2. In case of SC/ST/PwD candidates, a minimum of 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA is required in the qualifying Master’s degree.

NIT Goa Ph.D Admission 2024: Selection Process

1. The admissions to NIT Goa PhD programs are based on entrance examination followed by an interview round conducted by the institute.
2. Candidates qualifying national level examinations CSIR/NBHM/UGC-NET or GATE are exempted from taking the entrance examination conducted by the institute and  can directly apply for NIT Goa PhD programs. The shortlisted candidates are later called for the interview round.

NIT Goa Ph.D tuition fee is INR 7,500 per Semester (GEN/OBC candidates). Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH are exempted from paying tuition fees. GEN/OBC candidates with family income less than 1 lakh per annum are also exempted from paying tuition fees.
