Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow: BBAU, came into existence in 1996, founded by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource and Development. Qualities drawn from the Philosophies of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, BBAU works towards creating a socially responsible learning community. It offers 99 courses, Diploma/integrated PG Programmes/UG/PG/M. Phil. and Ph.D. at its main campus and the Satellite campus situated in Amethi, established in 2016. 

BBAU has over 40+ departments with more than 4000 students, it is accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade as of 2023. It is also recognized by the UGC.
