Almost every candidate who appears for the Common Admission Test (CAT) entrance exam aims to get admission into top IIMs, and other management institutes. IIMs are considered top-notch business schools, and they select students with really high scores (95+ percentile) in the CAT exam. CAT Result 2023
This year, around 2.88 lakh candidates appeared for the MBA entrance exam out of 3.28 lakh registered eligible candidates. The overall attendance was approximately 88%. Out of the 2.88 lakh candidates, 36% were female candidates, 64% were male candidates, and 5 candidates registered from the Transgender category.
As per the official data, a total of 14 candidates scored 100 percentile, 29 scored 99.99 percentile, and 29 other candidates scored 99.98 percentile. Out of these 72 candidates, only one is female, and the remaining are all males. For the sixth time in a row, no female candidate has achieved a perfect 100 percentile in the CAT exam.
