The registration process for Bihar Police SI positions is now open on the official website of the Bihar Public Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) at https://bpssc.bih.nic.in/. There are a total of 1275 vacancies available.
Eligible candidates can complete their registration on the BPSSC website. The deadline for BPSSC SI registration is November 5, 2023.
To successfully register, applicants must submit an application fee of INR 700/-. However, students from the SC/ST category and female applicants from all categories are required to pay an application fee of INR 400/-.

Eligibility Criteria
Students must fulfil the eligibility criteria in order to apply for the post of Sub Inspector in Bihar Police. They are required to meet both the educational criteria and age limit criteria.
Educational Criteria
Applicants are required to possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution in any field of study. Additionally, individuals in their final year of undergraduate studies are also eligible to apply for the examination.
Age Limit
To be eligible for the SI Post, male candidates should fall within the age range of 20 to 37 years, while female candidates should have an age range from 20 to 40 years as of August 1, 2023.
BPSSC SI Selection Process
The BPSSC SI selection process comprises four stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Personal Interview, and the Physical Fitness Test.
To be considered for the position of Sub Inspector, candidates are required to successfully pass all the stages within the selection process.
The BPSSC SI Preliminary examination carries a weightage of 200 marks, while the Main examination consists of two papers totaling 400 marks.
