SSNCE Chennai: Admission, Placements, Courses & Fees

The Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, Chennai (SSNCE Chennai) is an autonomous engineering institute that is affiliated with Anna University. The institute is accredited by the NBA, and its courses are approved by AICTE and UGC. The institute through its 12 departments offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in engineering, management, etc. SSNCE Chennai has secured the 45th position in the engineering category as per the NIRF Ranking 2023. 

SSNCE Chennai admission is through TNEA counselling as per Anna University (65%) and merit-based (35%). The flagship courses offered here are B.Tech. and M.Tech. SSNCE Chennai B.Tech admission mandates a Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) degree.  Selection of candidates for 65% of the seats will be done through counselling as per Anna University. Whereas, the remaining 35% of the seats will be occupied through management quota. SSNCE Chennai M.Tech admission requires a bachelor’s degree in B.E./B.Tech. with a minimum of 50% marks. The total tuition fee for the M.Tech program is INR 50,000.
