Candidates can check their compartment exam result using their board roll number. The Assam HSLC compartment exam 2023 was conducted from July 4 to July 8, 2023.
SEBA HSLC Result 2023: Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) released SEBA Result 2023 on May 22, 2023 at 10 am on its official website. Students who have appeared for the SEBA board exams 2023 can check their results using their board roll number. Students can also check their SEBA HSLC result via the SMS application. This year, the overall pass percentage has been 72.69% which is better than the pass percentage of 2022 (56.49%). Students are advised to check the official website regularly to stay updated with the latest result-related information.
In order to pass the SEBA board examination, students must meet the required passing criteria. As per the SEBA passing criteria, students must score at least 30% marks in each subject and also in the aggregate. For the subjects that have a theory and a practical paper, students must clear both papers separately as well. After the declaration of the SEBA result, students can also apply for re-evaluation by following the due procedure. Students must apply for re-evaluation within 12 days of the declaration of the results. The board conducts the SEBA HSLC compartmental exam usually in the month of July. The results of the compartment examination are usually released in August.

SEBA HSLC Result 2023: Passing Criteria
Only the students who meet the required passing criteria will qualify the SEBA board examination 2023.

SEBA HSLC Result 2023: Re-Checking & Photocopy of Answer Sheets
Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for re-checking of their answer sheets. Students can also apply for photocopy along with re-checking of their answer sheets.
Note: Students must apply for re-checking and photocopy along with re-checking of answer sheets within 20 days from the date of declaration of HSLC result.

The result of re-checking will be declared on the official SEBA website. Students can check the status of their applications through the official portal. Once the result of rechecking is out, students who opted for obtaining photocopies of their answer sheets can collect the same from the SEBA office, Bamunimaidam.
SEBA HSLC Compartmental Exam 2023
In order to appear for the HSLC compartmental exam 2023, the student must have failed in not more than 3 subjects (selected ones) and obtained a minimum of 170 marks in aggregate.
Note: Students appearing in SEBA HSLC Compartmental Exam 2023, must obtain at least 30% marks in the subjects they appeared for and they must obtain 180 or above marks in total. HSLC Compartmental Exam 2023 is a single chance for the candidates to improve their scores and if a student fails to clear the exam, they will have to re-admission into their respective schools.
It must also be noted that the respective schools are responsible for registering eligible students for the HSLC compartmental examination.
Students can apply for the HSLC compartmental exam 2023 with the help of the following steps:
- Visit the official website of SEBA
- Click on the link for "HSLC Compartmental Examination, 2023"
- Log into the official portal using your user ID and password
- Next. click on the "select centre" option to select the centre for compartmental exams
- Select the centre from the dropdown menu and submit it
- Next, click on the "enrol candidate" option and then a list of eligible students will be displayed on the screen
- Select the candidates' names and submit it
- The last step is to generate a challan, take its print out and make the challan payment at the nearest Apex Bank on or before June 15, 2023
Note: HSLC compartmental exam fee is Rs 350/- per subject and the centre fees per student is Rs 150/-.
