Kerala University UG Admission: Eligibility Criteria

Mentioned below are the common academic eligibility criteria for admission to various UG courses before university-level entrance exams in multiple disciplines.

• For admission to BA

Aspiring students must have passed their 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board, with a minimum of 45 % aggregate marks or equivalent.

• For admission to B.Sc

• Interested students are required to have completed their 12th  with PCB/M (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics) subjects. 

• For admission to B.Com

• Aspiring students must have completed their 12th in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

• For admission to BBA

• Students must have completed their 10+2 in any discipline with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate.

• For admission to BCA

• Students must have completed their 12th with computer science as the core subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Kerala University PG Admission: Eligibility Criteria

Mentioned below are the common academic eligibility criteria for admission to various PG courses before university-level entrance exams in multiple disciplines.

• For admission to MA

Students should have completed their 3-year BA program with at least 50% marks in the relevant subjects. 

Criteria can vary as per the specialization in terms of compulsory subjects. 

• For admission to M.Sc

Students must hold a bachelor's degree in Science from a recognized college/university with a minimum of 50 – 60% marks. Criteria can vary as per the specialization in terms of compulsory studied subjects. 

• For admission to M.Com

Students must have passed with 50% marks in aggregate in B.Com, BBA (any stream), or BA Economics or equivalent from a recognized university.

• For admission to M.Des

Aspiring students must hold a bachelor's degree in Design/Architecture/ Interior design/ Fine arts or in any stream with at least 50% marks from a recognized degree.

Kerala University PG Admission 2024: Selection Criteria 

Students willing to take admission to the above-mentioned postgraduate courses are required to appear for entrance exams conducted by Kerala University. Final selection will be based on the valid scores obtained in the required entrance exams.

Kerala University BTech Admission 2024

Eligibility Criteria - Candidates willing to take admission in the B.Tech program must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

The subjects include Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject* as optional.

Selection Criteria - Scores of state-level exam i.e. KEAM are considered for final selection.

Eligibility Criteria - Aspiring Students must have completed their graduation in any discipline, with at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university. 

Criteria can vary as per the specialization in terms of compulsory subjects.

Selection Criteria - Scores of CAT, CMAT, and KMAT are taken into consideration followed by group discussion and a personal interview round.

Eligibility Criteria -  Interested students must have done their masters from any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grades.

For different specializations, students must have studied the relevant subjects in their post-graduation.

Selection Criteria - The final selection process for the Ph.D. program at Kerala University includes appearing for an entrance exam conducted by Kerala University, however candidates with valid scores in UGC/CSIR /ICAR/ICMR or GATE are exempted from the university’s entrance exam.
