Is 87.5 a good score in JEE Mains?
Yes, 87.5 percentile is a good score in the JEE Main 2025 exam. Candidates can get admission to NIT or IIIT. However, they must not expect to get admission in top NITs or top courses (Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence) in colleges.
Is 120 a bad score in JEE Mains?
Yes, if you are scoring 120 marks out of 300, it is considered to be bad especially if you’re from an unreserved category. For admission to top NITs and in most sought-after courses such as Computer Science, the candidate must try to obtain at least 200-220 marks.
What is the Rank of 90% in JEE Mains?
JEE Main rank differs every year depending upon the total number of candidates who appeared in the examination. If you have 90 percentile in JEE Main, then your rank will be likely between 1,50,000 – 3,00,000.
