The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has opened the defect rectification facility on its official website – gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Candidates who wish to make the changes in the GATE application form 2025 before the result is announced can do so till March 15, 2025. Students must note that GATE Result 2025 will be announced on March 19, as mentioned in the official information brochure released by IIT Roorkee.
GATE 2025 – GOAPS Login Portal for Rectification
Aspirants can visit the official website of GOAPS – goaps.iitr.ac.in to login and change “defects” in the application form. Any information which the candidate feels is incorrect and needs to be edited can be done by 15th March, 2025. However, students are not allowed to change their “category” at this stage. The conducting body has clarified that the GATE result 2025 will be withheld if any wrong information is found in the application form during the counselling round. The official notification says, “The defect rectification for provisional /marked as defect candidates is now open up to 15th March 2025. Such candidates are instructed to log in through the GOAPS portal and clear their defects to avoid result withheld.”
