CAT Cut Off 2024: The Common Admission Test or CAT 2024 exam is being conducted on November 24 in three shifts. Candidates aspiring to get admission in IIMs through their CAT scores are advised to check past years’ cut off scores for an estimated idea.

Factors affecting CAT cut off 2024

The cut off scores for the CAT exam are prepared on the basis of various factors. Check the following affecting factors responsible for cutoff scores for CAT 2024: 

• Difficulty level: The cut off for CAT is affected by the difficulty level of the questions. The tougher a question paper is, the lower the cut off score is likely to be.
• Number of seats: The number of seats available at each IIM will affect the cut off scores. An institute with less number of seats is expected to release higher cut off scores.
• Number of students appearing: Higher number of candidates taking the CAT 2024 exam will affect the cut off scores. More students will result in higher qualifying cut off scores.
