SSC CHSL Preparation 2024 – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the SSC CHSL exam for registered candidates from July 1-11, 2024. Candidates who are appearing for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2024 must prepare thoroughly the topics from where questions are asked in the examination. Preparation Tips for Quantitative Aptitude
- Solve questions, mock papers and previous year’s question papers.
- Learn all the tables as much as possible, formulas, shortcut tricks to solve problems like Number systems, fundamental arithmetical operations, algebra, geometry, trigonometry etc.
Preparation Tips for Logical Reasoning
- Practice questions on topics such as coding-decoding, number series, analogy, and figure series.
- Try to use the best and easiest techniques to identify the pattern behind the questions and solve them.
- Practice previous years’ papers and mock papers for better problem-solving.
Preparation Tips for General Awareness
- Read newspaper articles and watch daily news to stay updated about current events.
- Go through NCERT books for a better understanding of History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Science and general policy, current events, important dates, and schemes.
- Attempt a quiz on current affairs available free on the internet and other sources.
Preparation Tips for English Comprehensions
- Read and understand grammar and vocabulary books for better concepts
- Make a habit of reading newspaper articles or magazines for reading skills
- Practice spotting errors, synonyms/antonyms, idioms and phrases, active passive, and comprehensive passages.
The other preparation strategies for skills test (Typing test) examination are given below:
- Aspirants must have basic knowledge of Computer skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Try to improve your typing speed regularly on a computer rather than a laptop.
