JEE Mains 2025 Session 2NTA has successfully conducted the JEE Main Session 2 April 3 exam for B.E/B.Tech. Students appearing today for the JEE Main exam 2025 will be able to check the detailed paper analysis, question papers and solutions, expected cutoff, and more. As per the initial feedback from students, JEE Mains April 3 Shift 1 was of moderate difficulty level, with Chemistry being the easiest section. The detailed JEE Main exam analysis for shift-wise April 3 exam is available in the article below. The JEE Main question paper and solution PDF will be provided to students based on memory-based questions. The official JEE Main answer key 2025 will be released tentatively on April 12, 2025. However, the NTA has yet to make an official confirmation. Moreover, candidates will be able to download JEE Main unofficial answer keys 2025 releases by various coaching institutions.

  1. Students will be able to download the JEE Main April 3 Shift 1 question paper PDF and paper analysis here after the shift ends. We will also be providing JEE Main April 3 Shift 2 question paper and solutions along with exam analysis.
  2. NTA starts JEE Mains Day 2 Shift 1 at 9:00 AM today. The JEE Main April 3 Shift 1 paper will conclude at 12 PM.
  3. The JEE Main Day 1 Shift 2 will be conducted from 3 PM to 6 PM.
  4. JEE Main April 2 Shift 1 Paper Analysis 2025 will include difficulty level, students’ and experts’ feedback, and expected cutoff

JEE Mains April 3 Shift 1 Shift 2 Analysis, Question Paper and Solutions

NTA concluded the JEE Main April 3 Shift 1 at 12 PM. After the shift 1 of JEE Mains April 3 exam ends, students will be able to check the JEE main question paper and solutions based on memory-based questions. ChemistryModerateAlmost all chapters were covered, with Organic and Physical Chemistry being dominant, while Inorganic Chemistry had very few questions. Most theoretical questions were directly based on NCERT, making the section straightforward and scoring.

While the overall difficulty level was not excessively high, certain questions were both difficult and lengthy, making this section the most challenging.

JEE Mains 2025 Exam – April 3 Shift 2 Started

JEE Mains April 3 Shift 2 started at 3 PM. The shift will conclude at 6 PM. According to students who appeared in the Shift 1 examination, the JEE Main April 3 exam was moderate to difficult. The comparison between Shift 1 and Shift 2 will be provided only after the Shift 2 ends.

JEE Mains 2025 April 3 Shift 1 Analysis – Maths Difficulty Level

The Mathematics section ranged from moderate to difficult, with a well-distributed set of questions across various topics. Key areas such as Matrices, 3D Geometry, Vectors, Conic Sections, Calculus, and Determinants were prominently featured. However, some questions were lengthy and time-consuming, adding to the overall challenge.

The Chemistry section was rated as easy to moderate. Almost all chapters were covered, with Inorganic and Physical Chemistry receiving the most weightage, whereas Organic Chemistry had fewer questions. Most theoretical questions were directly sourced from NCERT, making them straightforward, though a few required additional time to solve.

Most students found the Physics section to be of moderate difficulty, with a strong emphasis on numerical problems. The topic distribution was well-balanced, with significant weightage given to Mechanics, Electrostatics, Optics, and Units & Measurements. However, there were fewer questions from Modern Physics and Magnetism, while chapters on EMI and AC were notably absent.

JEE Mains Exam 2025 – April 3 Shift 1 Overall Difficulty Level

Most aspirants found the JEE Mains April 3 Shift 1 paper moderate. Candidates are experiencing the Chemistry section to be relatively easy compared to Physics and Mathematics. An aspirant from Ghaziabad who did not want to disclose his name said that he is expecting not more than the 85th percentile in the JEE Main Session 2 exam. He achieved 83 percentile in JEE Man session 1 exam.

    JEE Mains session 2 wil conclude on April 9, 2025. The last paper which is B.Planning and B.Arch will be conducted in a single morning shift on April 9. Following the conclusion of JEE Mains Session 2 exam, NTA will release the JEE Mains Answer Key likely on April 12, 2025. Moreover, the JEE Main result will be announced on April 17, 2025.
