JEE Mains Session 2 exams begin tomorrow and will continue till April 9. The Exams will be conducted in two shifts one starting from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and the other will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Shift 1 and Shift 2 respectively.
Candidates who are appearing for the session 2 exams are advised to reach the exam centers one to two hours before the reporting time. Candidates must carry their JEE Mains admit card along with valid ID proof. According to the strict guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) prohibited items and exam day instructions, candidates must follow them otherwise they may face problems.

JEE Mains 2025: General Exam Day Guidelines
On the day of the JEE Mains Exam 2025, candidates who are appearing are advised to follow the guidelines issued by NTA for the smooth conduct of the exam. Check these instructions below:
- Candidates should arrive at the JEE Mains Exam Center at least half an hour before the commencement of the exam. Being as early as possible can avoid you having last-minute hassles.
- Also, carry along a printed copy of the JEE Main admit card to the exam center. Without the admit card will not allow candidates to enter the examination center.
- All the directions given before and during the examination must be carefully listened to provided by the invigilator.
- Don’t leave the examination hall before the end of the exam
- Carry two passport-size photographs preferably (one out of which will be pasted on the attendance sheet).
- Show proof of an original photo identification that consists of the same as uploaded in the application. Copies or mobile pictures will not be accepted.
Important Dos and Don’ts for JEE Mains 2025 Exam Day
Candidates appearing for the JEE Mains 2025 exam are advised to check the following dos and don’ts on the day of examination:
