IIM CAP 2024: The Common Admission Process or CAP is a single-window MBA admission process designed for the new IIMs. The nine new IIMs including IIM Bodh Gaya, Kashipur, Ranchi, Raipur, Sirmaur, Sambalpur, Trichy, Udaipur, and Jammu are participating in the IIM CAP 2024. The admission process will begin after the declaration of CAT exam 2023 results.
Since the CAT results 2023 are out at iimcat.ac.in, candidates can now expect the CAP registration to open in January. CAP 2024 will shortlist the candidates for IIM admissions on the basis of their CAT exam 2023 results, Written Ability Test (WAT), and a personal interview (PI).
The CAP 2024 admission process is expected to take place from February to April tentatively. Candidates can then expect the final merit lists to go live on individual IIM websites in May, 2024.
IIM CAP 2024: Selection Criteria and Weightage
The IIM CAP selection process will take place on the basis of the CAT results, Written Ability Test, and Personal Interview. Candidates can have a look at the weightage divided for IIM CAP 2023. Please note that the weightage may differ for 2024 selection criteria.

IIM CAP 2024: Steps to Register
IIM CAP 2024 registration is likely to begin in January 2024. Candidates can register themselves by logging on to the hosting IIM’s website. IIM CAP 2023 was conducted by IIM Udaipur. Here are the easy steps to register for IIM CAP 2024:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the host IIM
Step 2: Click on the link for IIM CAP 2024
Step 3: Login using your credentials
Step 4: Fill the CAP 2024 registration form
Step 5: Upload all the required documents
Step 6: Click on submit
Candidates who successfully complete the registration process will move forward with the selection process. The eligible candidates will receive a call for an interview from individual IIMs.
