CBSE Exams 2024 Datesheet Release Date: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to release the CBSE class 10 and 12 exam date sheet. According to media reports, the class 10 and 12 exam date sheet is expected to be released by the end of October. It’s worth emphasizing that the CBSE Board Exam 2024 date sheet has not been officially released with the exact date and timing yet.
If past trends are to be noted, then the CBSE releases the class 10 and 12 board date sheet about 2 months before the commencement of exams. Last year, the board released the CBSE class 10 and 12 board sheets on December 29. With that in mind, students are advised to keep a close eye on the official website of CBSE.
Furthermore, candidates must note that the board officials are yet to confirm the exact date and time of announcing the CBSE Board 2024 Timetable. The datesheet will be uploaded on the CBSE’s official website. Once the document has been released, candidates can check and download the datesheet from cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.
Even before the date sheet has been released, CBSE officials have already released the CBSE board exam dates for 2024. According to the details shared by the officials, the CBSE class 10 and 12 board exams 2024 will commence on February 15 and will continue up to April 10, 2024.
Furthermore, CBSE has made some major changes in the CBSE class 10 and 12 exam pattern. According to the details, in the revised CBSE class 10 exam pattern for 2024, 50% of the questions will focus on assessing competencies through various formats like MCQs, source-based questions, and case study-based questions. Additionally, 20% of the questions will be in the form of MCQs, while the remaining 30% will consist of short and long answer-type questions.
The objective behind this revised exam pattern is to reduce reliance on rote learning and promote a deeper understanding of concepts among students. Meanwhile, currently, the board is busy processing the list of candidates (LOC). Once the process of LOC is completed, the examination board will work on preparing and releasing the CBSE Class 10 and 12 date sheet for 2024.
