The Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC vacancy 2025 on its official website. The commission has also released the notification for the UPSC exam scheduled to be conducted on May 25, 2025. With the release of the official notice, the UPSC registration also started at upsconline.nic.in. The last date to apply for the UPSC exam is February 11, 2025. The commission has released a total of 979 UPSC vacancy 2025 at upsc.gov.in.
The detailed post-wise and category-wise vacancies will be released after the final result is declared. For the year 2024, UPSC announced a total of 1056 vacancies. The post-wise vacancies will be released soon.
UPSC Vacancy 2025
The Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC notification prescribing the eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus, and vacancies for the UPSC exam 2025. UPSC CSE is the most sought-after examination for aspirants who wish to join Civil Services at all India level. Out of the total vacancies released, only 80-100 vacancies are reserved for the post of Indian Administrative Services (IAS), which is the most prestigious position in the government.

UPSC CSE Exam 2025
UPSC Prelims exam 2025 will be conducted on May 25. The prelims exam is divided into two papers – General Studies I and General Studies II. Both papers contain objective-type questions. There is also a negative marking upon incorrect answers in both GS papers of prelims examination.
