AFCAT 02/2024 Notification Released for 304 vacancies

AFCAT 2 Notification 2024: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official AFCAT 02/2024 notification for recruitment of officers in Flying branch and Ground Duty branches. IAF aims to fill a total of 304 vacancies through this exam cycle. The detailed recruitment notification for AFCAT 2 Notification 2024 as well as the application forms will be released on May 30, 2024. The last date to apply will be June 28, 2024.  

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted twice a year to recruit officers in Ground Duty and Flying branches in both technical and non-technical roles. The date for the AFCAT 2024 exam will be notified by the official authorities soon.

AFCAT 2024 Eligibility criteria

The candidates interested in applying for the AFCAT exam must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

Age Limit 

  • Candidates applying for Flying Branch must be between 20 to 24 years of age as of July 1, 2024.  Candidates who hold a Commercial Pilot License issued by the DGCA (India) may have their upper age limit relaxed to 26 years.
  • Meanwhile, candidates applying for the Ground Duty branch must be between 20 to 26 years of age.

Nationality 

A candidate must be a citizen of India to apply for the AFCAT 2024 examination.

Educational Qualification

The AFCAT 2024 eligibility criteria varies for Ground Duty posts in accordance with the technical and non-technical roles. Candidates can take a look at the eligibility requirements for flying branch posts in the table given below.
