IIM Nagpur MBA Admission 2024

The MBA programme is a two-year, full-time residential course offered by the Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM Nagpur). The MBA programme is IIMN’s flagship programme. It is also popularly known as the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP).

IIM Nagpur MBA Admission Process 2024

The admission process at IIM Nagpur for the MBA is carried out in 3 stages. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their Common Admission Test (CAT) score, Past Academic Performance (PAP), Work Experience (WE), Gender Diversity (GDI), and performance in the Personal Interview (PI).

IIM Nagpur MBA Admission Process 2024: Stage 1

Applicants who have taken the CAT exam will undergo an initial screening based on the  CAT cut-off scores determined by the Institute. Candidates who successfully meet the IIM Nagpur CAT cut-off will be invited via email to complete the application form for IIM Nagpur.

IIM Nagpur MBA Admission Process 2024: Stage 2

Candidates who satisfy the minimum CAT cut off and have filled the IIM Nagpur application form within the specified deadline will move to Stage 2 of the admission process. 

Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their CAT score & Gender Diversity (GDI) Score:

• CAT Score (CAT) will be computed as =(Total CAT score obtained by the candidate/Maximum total CAT score+) *10
• Gender Diversity Score (GDI) will be calculated out of 10 on the basis of candidate’s gender (0 for male, 10 for female, and 10 for transgender candidates)

Finally, a shortlisting score (SS) is calculated on the basis of candidates CAT and GDI scores:

Shortlisting Score (SS) = 0.85 * (CAT Score) + 0.15 * (GDI Score)

Candidates who score equal to or more than the SS will be shortlisted & invited via email to participate in Stage 3 of the admission process.

IIM Nagpur MBA Admission Process 2024: Stage 3

Candidates selected in Stage 2  will receive invitations for a personal interview at the IIM Nagpur campus. Following the conclusion of these interviews, candidates will be chosen based on their final score.

The Final Score (FS) will be computed on the basis of the candidate’s:

• CAT score
• PI score
• Past academic performance (PAP) score
• Work experience (WE) score
• Gender Diversity (GDI) score

The Final score (FS) is computed using the following formula:

FS = 0.50* (CAT Score) + 0.25* (PI Score) + 0.05 * (PAP Score) + 0.10 * (WE Score) + 0.10* (GDI Score)

Note: Provisional offer letters will be issued to the eligible candidates based on the Final score. 

After completion of Stage 3, ranks will be calculated separately for each category (General/EWS/NC-OBC/SC/ST/DAP) on the basis of their Final Scores (FS).

IIM Nagpur MBA Fees 2024

The total fee of the MBA programme at IIM Nagpur is INR 18,90,000/- (excluding a refundable caution deposit of INR 50,000/-). Eligibility for Ph.D Programme 

• Educational Requirements

Candidates must satisfy any one of the following educational requirements:

• Master’s degree with a minimum of 60% or equivalent marks
• A 2-year Post-graduate diploma in management with at least 60% or equivalent marks
• Possess professional qualification (CA/ICWA/CS with a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks) and passed the Bachelor’s degree exam with at least 60% marks/equivalent
• A 5-year integrated Master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 60 % aggregate/equivalent marks
• A 4 year / 8 semesters Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 85% or equivalent marks

The admission process into the Ph.D programme at IIM Nagpur is divided into the following 4 stages:

IIM Nagpur Scholarship 2024

IIM Nagpur provides scholarships to meritorious students and students from economically weaker sections to pursue the PGP (Full Time) programme at IIM Nagpur.

IIM Nagpur has initiated two types of scholarships:

• IIM Nagpur Merit Based Scholarship: for candidates scoring 95 percentile or above in CAT
