CEPT University (Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology) is situated in Ahmedabad. The government of Gujarat corporated CEPT University in 2005. The university was recognised by UGC in 2007, under section2(f) of UGC  Act 1956. The University has been rated 5 Stars in the GSIRF Rating in 2022 and in the country the university has ranked 7th in the category of Architecture and Planning, as per NIRF Ranking 2023.

The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) of the government of India recognised the University as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO). 

The CEPT University has six facilities: The Faculty of Architecture which was established as the School of Architecture in 1962, the Faculty of Planning was established in 1972, the Faculty of Technology which is based on engineering and construction, established in 1991 as the School of Interior Design, and the Faculty of Management was established in 2013. The university offers the program of MA in Construction Engineering & Management which is a flagship course that promotes career in construction management, B Arch, B Design PhD in Architecture and many more courses. The selection process includes entrance exams like NATA, JEE Mains, UCEED following which the final round of selection process which is personal interview will be conducted for final admission.

The University offers UG, PG, Doctoral level courses based on entrance exams like NATA, JEE Mains, Personal Interview which would be conducted by the University itself.

Firstly, students have to fill the form of eligibility for appearing in the entrance examination. The university accepts the entrance exams like JEE Mains, NATA and then they give admission on the basis of the last selection process, which is a personal interview.

• Candidates have to pass class 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 45% related to the courses in which they want to take admission 
• The University conducts Personal Interview after appearing in Entrance Examination.

CEPT University Registration Fees Structure 2024

The registration fees of Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology are given below: 

• The Registration fees for UG application are INR 1500/- 
• The Registration fees for PG application are INR 3500/- and INR for the first application INR 1000/-
• The Registration fees/ Tuition fees are INR 30,000/- per semester.
