NEET UG Exam Date 2025: Know the expected NEET schedule for this year

NEET UG 2025: The National Testing Agency will announce the NEET Exam Date on their official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Based on past trends, NEET UG is expected to be held in May 2025.

NEET UG Exam Date 2025 Announced

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG Date 2025 on their official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Based on previous years’ trends, it is expected that the NEET UG exam will be conducted on the first Sunday of May, 2025 i.e., May 4, 2025. However, official confirmation from NTA is awaited. NEET UG 2025 is conducted for students seeking admission to various medical and paramedical courses such as MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BAMS, and Veterinary in India.

Every year, more than 15 lakh candidates appear for the exam, making it one of the most competitive entrance exams in the country. The exam is a gateway for admission to prestigious medical colleges across India, both government and private. Candidates will be able to start filling out the NEET UG Application Form 2025 tentatively in February 2025.

NEET UG Eligibility 2025 

The National Testing Agency sets the eligibility criteria which is released along with the official notification. Candidates can not take the NEET UG 2025 if they do not meet the eligibility requirements. Check the NEET UG Eligibility here.

  • Students must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission or by December 31 of the admission year for the first year of the undergraduate medical course.
  • Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually in the qualifying exam.
  • General category candidates must have scored at least 50% in the qualifying exam.
  • Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Class candidates must have a minimum score of 40% in the qualifying exam whereas General category candidates applying under the Persons with Disability (PWD) quota must have a minimum score of 45% in the qualifying exam.
