JoSAA Counselling 2024 Registration: Step-by-Step Guide to Apply for the Counselling Process

JoSAA Counselling 2024 registration start from June 10 (Monday). Students eligible for the counselling can apply till June 18, 2024.

JoSAA Counselling 2024 – With the release of the JEE Advanced result 2024, students now can apply for JoSAA Counselling on the official website, josaa.nic.in. Students can apply for counselling from June 10, 2024. The counselling process is open for students who have a valid JEE Main and JEE Advanced score. The JEE Main score is required for admission to the National Institute of Technology (NITs) and the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IITs); while the JEE Advanced score is required for admission to the prestigious IITs of the country.

JoSAA Counselling Process 2024

  • The JoSAA counselling process starts with the registration process and documents upload.
  • Next, students must choose the course (and specialisation) and institute they wish to apply for during the choice-filling and choice-locking process.
  • In the second phase of the process, seats will be allocated based on the students’ rank and marks. There are a total of six rounds of seat allocation. The JoSAA opening and closing ranks are published after each round of counselling.
  • The next stage is to accept/float/reject the allotted seat. Students who accepts their allotted seats have to report to the allotted college and confirm their admission by paying an advance payment of fees (as required).
