HSSC Group D CET over; Here’s what candidates have to do next

The HSSC selection process encompasses both the Common Eligibility Test (CET) with a weightage of 95% marks and the Socio-Economic Criteria, which holds a 5% weightage.

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) concluded its common eligibility test for group D vacancies (HSSC Group D CET 2023) on October 21 and 22. Once the HSSC Group D results are announced candidates can visit the official website to check and download the results. 

Meanwhile, the HSSC Group D exam 2023 took place from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Candidates were also given five minutes additional to mark the fifith option. The HSSC selection process is based on the Common Eligibility Test and Socio-Economic Criteria. The CET is of 95% marks whereas the Socio-Economic criteria is of 5%. Since the CET has taken place, candidates are advised to prepare for the socio-economic criteria.

Candidates are required to provide the following documents/proof for the Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience section:

  • Orphan Certificate issued by Tehsildar
  • The concerned Appointing Authority issues an experience certificate.
  • Tapriwas Jatis or Vimukt Jati Certificate issued by Tehsildar
  • Widow Certificate issued by Tehsildar
  • Self-declaration

Meanwhile a total of 13,75,151 candidates registered for the Haryana Group D CET. A total of 13,536 vacancies in the state will be filled through this recruitment drive. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the examination on behalf of the commission. The test was held at 798 centers spanning 17 districts within the state as well as in Chandigarh.

Candidates must know that the monthly take-home salary for the HSSC Group D position will fall within the range of Rs. 16,900 to Rs. 53,500. In addition to the salary, candidates will also receive extra perks and benefits.
