AP TET Result 2024: The Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh will release the result for AP TET exam 2024 today, March 14, 2024, at the official website. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to download their scorecard by visiting the website aptet.apcfss.in. The AP TET examination was held from February 27 to March 9, 2024.
As per the schedule created by the exam conducting body, the final answer key for AP TET was expected to be released on March 13, 2024. However, it has not been released yet. The AP TET results will be announced any time soon today at the official website.

The AP TET Paper II (A) is designed for candidates who wish to apply for teaching positions for classes 6th to 8th. Here are the qualifications required for paper II (A):
Paper I (A) in AP TET exam is for candidates who wish to apply for a teaching position for classes 1st to 5th. The following are the minimum qualifications required for Paper I (A):
Candidates can appear for the Andhra Pradesh TET exam as many times as they wish to. There is no maximum number of limits to attempt the AP TET exam.
According to the AP TET information bulletin, teachers who were recruited before the NCTE notification dated 23.08.2010 as per recruitment rules and by a competent authority will be exempted.
Meanwhile, private school teachers whose appointments were not approved by the competent authority will not be exempted from passing the AP TET. Such teachers are required to appear for TET exams conducted by either State or Central government.
Non-approved teachers working in private schools are required to appear for TET conducted by the State Government only.
The Andhra Pradesh TET normalization formula is given below:
𝑴𝒊𝒋 = Normalized marks of the jth candidate in the ith shift.
𝑴𝒕𝒈= is the average mark of the top 0.1% of the candidates considering all shifts.
𝑴𝒒𝒈= is the sum of the mean and standard deviation marks of the candidates in the examination considering all shifts.
𝑴𝒕𝒊= is the average mark of the top 0.1% of the candidates in the ith shift.
𝑴𝒊𝒒= is the sum of mean marks and standard deviation of the ith shift.
𝑴𝒊𝒋= is the actual marks that the jth candidate obtained in the ith shift.
𝑴gm𝒒= is the sum of the mean marks of candidates in the shift having maximum mean and standard deviation of marks of candidates in the examination considering all shifts.
The Andhra Pradesh TET certificate will be available to download at the official website – aptet.apcfss.in. However, candidates will also be able to access their TET certificate through DigiLocker. The Joint Director, TET and Member Convener, Andhra Pradesh will issue the AP TET pass certificate.

The AP TET score will be given a 20% weightage during the teachers’ recruitment process. 80% weightage will be given to the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT). Candidates must remember that only qualifying the Andhra Pradesh TET exam will not confirm a job. They still have to go through the interview process and written test for recruitment.
As per the NCTE guidelines, the Andhra Pradesh TET certificate shall stay valid for a lifetime. Candidates will be allowed to download their certificate from the official website as many times as they would like to.
