RV College of Engineering Bangalore was established in 1963 and today stands as an autonomous institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework 2023, the college ranks 96th among the top engineering colleges in India. The institute is approved by AICTE, and accredited by NBA. 

RVCE Bangalore offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of B.Tech/BE, M.Tech/ME, and MCA. Admission to B.Tech/BE is granted on the basis of CET /COMEDK /JEE Mains /KEA, admission to M.Tech/ME is granted on the basis of GATE, and admission to MCA takes place on the basis of Karnataka PGCET/KMAT.

RVCE Bangalore B.Tech/BE Admission 2024

RVCE Bangalore offers B.Tech/BE in branches of Aerospace Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Information Science and Engineering, Master of Computer Applications, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (Telecommunication Engineering), and Basic Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate must have scored a minimum of 70% in Science and Maths separately in Class 10, a minimum of 65% in Physics and Mathematics separately in Class 11, and a minimum of 60% in Physics and Mathematics separately in Class 12.

Selection Criteria:

Admission is made on the basis of scores obtained in common entrance examinations such as JEE, COMEDK, or KCET 2023.

RVCE Bangalore M.Tech/ME Admission 2024

The two-year M.Tech/ME is offered in branches of Product Design & Manufacturing (MPD), Digital Communication (MDC), Computer Science & Engineering (MCE), VLSI Design & Embedded System (MVE), Computer Network Engineering (MCN), Machine Design (MMD), Communication System (MCS), Power Electronics (MPE), Structural Engineering (MST), Software Engineering (MSE), Information Technology (MIT), Highway Technology (MHT), and Biotechnology.

Eligibility Criteria:

• A candidate should score a minimum of 50% in B.Tech/BE or an equivalent course.
• Candidates must also write PGCET/GATE with a valid score.

Selection Criteria:

Admission is granted on the basis of rank obtained in PGCET/GATE. 

RVCE Bangalore MCA Admission 2024

RVCE Bangalore offers a two year full time course in MCA.

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission to MCA course shall be open to the candidate who has passed any recognised BCA/ Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree OR passed B.Sc. /B.Com/ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level and obtained an aggregate score of 50% in marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the degree examination.
