NEET UG Registration 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon open the registration window for NEET UG exam 2024. The application form is expected to be released before mid February. However, the official dates have not been confirmed yet. Candidates wishing to register for the examination will be able to apply online at neet.nta.nic.in.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for UG aspirants is scheduled to be held on May 5, 2024. Students planning to fill the NEET UG application form are required to check the list of documents to be submitted in advance to avoid hassle during the time of registration.
NEET UG Exam 2024: Documents Required
Before applying for the NEET UG 2024 examination, candidates must keep all the required documents ready. Since the NEET UG application process is a detailed procedure, it is advisable to keep the documents handy to avoid confusion.
- Class 10 documents including marksheet and certificate
- Class 12 documents including marksheet and certificate
- Aadhar card
- Government ID proof with a valid ID number such as election card, passport, aadhar, PAN, ration card, or any other government issued document
- Scanned passport size photograph
- Scanned copy of signature
- Scanned copy of candidate’s left hand thumb impression
- Net banking, UPI, or credit/debit card details for online payment of application form

NEET UG Application Fee 2024

NEET UG Eligibility 2024
Candidates wishing to apply for the NEET UG exam must have a look at the NEET UG eligibility requirements. Given below are the basic NEET UG eligibility criteria:
Nationality: Candidates fulfilling the following nationality criteria are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2024
- Citizen of India
- Non Resident of India (NRI)
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)

Age Limit:
- Minimum Age to apply for NEET UG is 17 years
- Maximum Age: There is no maximum age limit to apply for NEET UG
Academic Qualifications:
- Candidate must have cleared their 12th grade from a recognized school or institution
- Candidates appearing for their 12th board in the same year as NEET UG exam are also eligible to apply
Minimum Score:
Class 12 percentage for different categories of students varies for NEET UG:
- Unreserved candidates must have scored at least 50% in class 12
- SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates must have scored at least 40% in class 12
Mandatory Subjects:
- Candidates must have completed their class 12th with physics, chemistry, and biology as their subjects
- Candidates with biology as their additional subject in class 12 are also eligible to apply for NEET UG
