The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) rescheduled the MPSC prelims exam to August 25, 2024 instead of July 21, 2024. MPSC conducts the State Service Exam/Rajyaseva Exam to recruit officers for Group A and Group B posts like Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Deputy Education Officer and many more. According to the official notification, MPSC has announced 524 vacancies. Candidates who registered for the exam online can download the MPSC Admit Card 2024 from the official website, mpsc.gov.in.
MPSC Exam Day Guidelines

- Candidates must carry a printed copy of their hall ticket and a valid ID proof like Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driver’s License, etc. to the allotted exam centre.
- It is advisable to carry two passport size photographs in case the one on the admission card appears hazy.
- Carrying electronic devices such as Bluetooth devices, Pen drives, Smart phones or watches is strictly prohibited.
- Aspirants must arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled reporting time to avoid any hassle.
MPSC Rajyaseva 2024: Selection Process
The MPSC Exam 2024 is conducted in three stages- Prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates who qualify the MPSC Prelims are eligible to appear for Mains. Those who qualify the Mains Exam can appear for the MPSC Interview round. The MPSC Prelims is taking place on August 25, 2024 and the Mains are scheduled for December 14, 15 and 16, 2024 (tentative). Candidates who successfully clear all the stages of the MPSC State Service Exam 2024 will be appointed for Group A and B posts in the Maharashtra Public Service Commission.
