JEE Main 2024: The registrations for JEE Main 2024 are underway. The application process for JEE Main 2024 (Session 1) began on November 1 and the last date to apply is November 30, 2023.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. The Session 1 exam will be held between January 24 and February 1, 2024. The Session 2 exam will be held between April 1 and 15, 2024.
Candidates can register for either or both sessions of the exam through the official website of JEE Main 2024.
JEE Main 2024 Eligibility
Before filling out the JEE Main 2024 application form, candidates must ensure that they satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
Age limit
There is no age limit to appear in JEE Main.
Qualifying exam
Candidates must have passed Class 12/equivalent exam in 2022, 2023, or appearing in 2024
Number of attempts
Candidates can appear in JEE Main for three consecutive years after passing their Class 12/qualifying exam. They can give two attempts in a year.
Subjects in qualifying exam
- For JEE Main Paper 1: Physics and Maths are compulsory subjects. Candidates can choose any one subject among Biology, Chemistry, or Technical Vocational Subject
- For JEE Main Paper 2A (B.Arch): Physics, Chemistry, and Maths are compulsory subjects.
- For JEE Main Paper 2B (B.Plan): Mathematics is a compulsory subject.
