TISS NET 2024: The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has announced that admission to all its postgraduate courses will be based on the Common University Entrance Test Post-Graduate (CUET PG 2024) for the upcoming academic session 2024-25. Read More: CUET PG Exam 2024
Earlier, TISS had released a notice stating that the TISS National Entrance Test (TISSNET) has been discontinued for the academic year 2024-25 and admissions to all postgraduate courses, except for two, will be conducted through CUET PG 2024. These two courses include Master of Arts in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations (HRM & LR) and Master of Arts in Organisation Development, Change and Leadership (ODCL).
As per the previous notice, candidates seeking admission into MA (HRM & LR) and MA (ODCL) were required to appear for the Common Aptitude Test (CAT 2023). It must be noted that registrations for CAT 2023 are closed now. The last date to apply for the CAT exam was September 21. CAT Exam 2023 is scheduled to take place on November 26 (Sunday).
However, as per the notice released on November 17, 2023, all the candidates who wish to pursue postgraduate courses at TISS will be required to take the CUET (PG) 2024 only.
The registration forms for CUET (PG) 2024 will tentatively be out in January 2024. As per the official NTA notification, the CUET (PG) 2024 exam will be held from March 11, 2024 to March 28, 2024.
