UPSC Exam Analysis 2024 – The Union Public Service Commission has conducted the CSE Preliminary Exam today, June 16, 2024. The UPSC Prelims exam is conducted in two shifts – General Studies 1 (9:30 – 11:30) and General Studies II (2:30 – 4:30). The GS II paper is also known as CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) which is qualifying nature but plays a crucial role in clearing the preliminary examination as the difficulty level of the paper is on the rise since last few years. The detailed UPSC exam analysis will give an overview of the difficulty level and topic-wise weightage of questions asked in the CSE preliminary examination 2024.
The UPSC Prelims Examination consists of questions from History (Ancient, Medieval, Modern), Indian Polity, Indian and World Geography, Economics, Environment & Biodiversity, Science & Technology, and Current Affairs. From the last few years, it has been seen that UPSC is asking more questions from Environment, Biodiversity, and Science & Technology rather than traditional topics like History, Polity, and Geography.
